  • How many of you guys experience frozen LCA bolts?

I just wanted to know how many of you guys have ever experienced a broken Lca bolt? Because from all the cars I have owned and other cars I worked on, im always hitting that problem.. Tell me what are your tricks or secrets on how to get a LCA bolt out smoothly or your technics on removing a frozen Lca bolt. And has anyone ever used a sawzall? How fast does that cut the bolt? Because I always use a dremel and it takes me 15 minutes to slice one bolt.

fuck those bolts. a good thing to do is the night before ill leave the car up on jack stands.. pb blast the shit out of the bolt then the next day hit it with pb again and just try to be real careful with it. thats my only trick lol. the sawzall cuts it out in no time.

I used pb blast on the bolts b4 trying. To remove....spray them and let it sit overnite they will come out smooth as butter...sawzall take too long and the blade goes dull b4 u get to the 2nd bold....I say pb blast or use a hand grinder to cut them off

pb blaster hit the lower control arm REALLY hard with a hammer spray again. go eat, spray again go out the next morning spray again. small torch to heat it up and a 1/2 inch ratchet and itll come right out

Yeah thats why im about to do, because today I was wanting to slap on my suspension and add the lower control arm I bought from ESP motor sport (Thank you again for the great service) but my impact gun couldn't spin nothing, so I think im just going to keep spraying PB blaster on it for one whole month everyday until the end of February when im ready to try to remove the bolts again.

lmao yea but a torch always works, not a cutting torch just the hand ones.

i use a torch and heat it up first if that doesnt work i snap the bolt and take out the part it screws into in the back by snapping that to and i put a whole new nut and bolt in.
