anything larger that 7mm you either need longer wheel studs/lug bolts. im running 5mm up front and still get 8 full turns out of the lug and for the rear im running 10mm spacers. i needed to get longer lug studs(vw). looks good but took them off for winter.
I would not recomend running washers cause it will/might run your wheels out of balance cause some washers r not exactly all the same. bite the bullet and spend the money or find wheels that will fit your car.
