ive been here since this site has first been opened and i remember when certain mods and the admin were asking question how to make it better it been like this and now people want a change or tell mods to do their jobs thats how its always been if no one likes it get the steppin thats the way i see things.

Shit i was one of the first people on this site too. Mod priveledges were given to toooo many people at first so it got hectic. Now, the mods are doing a great job.

i have a life outside of here. i don't do this for my own personal enjoyment. i don't get paid for this. i do it to try and help out, and i try to be as fair as i can. don't like it? don't stay on here. point blank.

i agree with the OP ..imo This site is good to buy and sell car parts within CT other than that this site is ehhh not up to par. Ctvtec compared to Honda-tech is a 1.6 single cam with 250k running on 2 cylinders. I honestly think Honda-tech is a great site due to the great forums members posts and how well the mods regulate it ..dont get me wrong CTvtec has potential ….

Honda-Tech compared to NWP4life. Is a 1.5 non vtec on 300k with burned rings.

Honda-tech is also owned and operated by a company who has a large network of forums. Everything ranging from home and garden forums to bodybuilding forums.

They have a large income coming in and are very expensive to advertise on. H-T also pays a shit ton of money to monitor those forums and the mods are not just any joe shmoe who has a nice car or knows illir..

This is a low income, low budget site but it gets thr job done for what we use it for. Sometimes shit gets out of hand but for the most part the mods do exactly what a mod should do.

Ultimately, it is Admin's choice on how he wants to capitalize on this forum. As of right now, this forum will never compare to H-T but thats mainly because the advertising price on this site is alot cheaper than it should be which is a benefit to those of you who do advertise.

H-T makes you commit to a 6 month agreement minimum and it is a couple thousand dollars to be a sponsor there.

I just became a sponsor on K20A.org and even though thats a well known, small site, it was expensive to advertise but that money is getting put to good use because that is a very clean forum and people rarely get away with breaking rules.
