car wont rev past 4500

    cause its hitting a rev limiter as if the car were in neutral and you smacked the throttle....
    91 DB1 Integra ls/vtec built raced broken and rebuilt

      my friend had the same problem turns out the ecu was in protect mode or something get a quick easy tune and it fixed it right away check that out i know u went through many ecus but seems like everytime it got plugged in it got protected saftey feature of something

          could be the oil pressure switch for vtec
          could be tps
          do you have a chipped ecu with 2 step?
          does your speedo work?
          Honda sucks. Over priced junk.

            if vtec system isent working its not going to rev past where vtec is suppose to crossover. unplugging tps plug will not stall the car out ether. it would sound and run like ass if you open throttle. if your vtec is not properly working that is most likely your problem.

              if my vtec wasnt working it would roll past without it cracking... if my speedo cable that goes to the tranny was unplugged it would hit my vtec which was 5100 and stop going.. find that cable and plug it in im almost betting its what it is

                yeah its weird had a single cam roll pass vtec engagement, buy my ls v would hit a rev limit at the crossover.

                  Yeah my friends' car revs past vtec engagement with a bad solenoid so I don't think its that
