car wont rev past 4500

what is wrong here i have a single cam vtec d15b i just swapped it and i checked the dizzy and fuel i also check the map but i unplugged the tps and it did nothing could that be the problem also i heard it could be timing but the motor only has 30k on it from tiger jap

p28 i already switched them out with like 5 diff ecus it does the same thing

check the compression on each piston maybe the compression off

Do you have the wires crossed on the map sensor and iac or something also check timing kinda odd it only does it at 4500 rpm hmm it's deff gotta be something simple. g/l and keep us posted

idk about the d motors but if its obd0 and that speedo cable is unplugged its running as if clutch isnt engaged and and hits a rev limiter. Or at least thats what it did on my lsvtec... took for ever to figure it out...

well i know the tps is bad cause i unplugged it and it did nothing but i unplugged the map and it killed the car so i dont know ...also my speedo aint working so i dont know never had this happen before

could it be cause the vtec pressure switch aint hooked up ..? i went to manchester honda and they seem to think that is the problem

speedo aint working cause that cable is messed up.. a bad tps didnt cause my car to not rev past something.. it made it run like shit in low rpm but high rpm it was a beast haha.... in turn wreckless driving. but beside that if that cable isnt plugged in then it cant read speed. it reads rpms but vtec wont engage without the speed working.... plug that cable in.

and once again.. my lsvtec i didnt have vtec working because my vtec was wired wrong.. didnt cause my car not to rev past a certain point it just didnt work.
