  • 1986 mr2

I have too many cars and too much goin on right now, I need to downsize. First to go:

1986 MR2, 5 spd, sunroof. I haven't had TOO much time to start tweaking with it, since I've been working on other projects.....interior is clean, and in one piece, I'll update on odo reading in the morning....body is in OK shape....rear quarters are bubbly, and could use a paint job....no major dents that I've seen, all the lights function....I've driven the car up and down the st, it shifts smooth but it has a rod knock. You could rebuild it, or (what I personally would do) is just swap another 4age into it. Hell, if you want the car and have a 4age accessable to you I'll pull the old engine out and put the "new" engine in myself...

For serious buyers, any work that needs to be done to it that you're not happy with even after you buy it (assuming you didn't beat the piss out of it) from interior cracks to parts replacement I can do the work or replace the part seeing as though I have a shit ton of em...I'm just tired of all these cars sitting here where as someone could be taking care of them.

EDIT: You'll seen in the picture, pass side corner piece is missing from stock kit, I have it, it's in the car....

Do your research, these are fun little gas saver/sports cars that are hella fun on corners.

    Price is $800 FIRM

PS I'll add more details in the morning, sorry for shitty ad, but I'm exhausted from work....

Thanks for the bumps....once I'm done finishing the other MR2 I'm doing for a buyer, I'll be able to dedicate more time to this one and maybe fiind an engine to drop in and get it to go before I sell it....that being said, of course the price will rise a little.

                    Thanks again for the bumps!

Yes the engine is in the rear....nothing special....just picture a FWD setup in the back of your car lol...but it makes a huge difference in handling

Theres one on CL for about 5k, has some work done it but its never fun to buy something already put together. You dont get the joy of busting your hands open when swapping something lol

Yeah he's on the mr2 club forums....it's worth every cent, he's pretty meticulous when he does his cars, he sold his 2nd gen turbo already. But like you said it's no fun if you're not building it to your specs.
