  • 98 ex turbo questionss

    i might be picking up a 98 ex nd it coming wit a full greaddy turbo kit...not installed yet...im thinking bout installing it... car will be my dd!!! i plan on changing all the seals and belts nd headgasket jus to be safe. i was thinking viatara pistons and eagle rods and throw on the turbo chipped nd tuned by dave on a p28.... wat r ppls opinions...nd anything else tht i must have! if i reach 200 ill be happy nd about how much psi wld be safe also?

    put the kit on the stock motor 6 psi have dave tune it safe and drive it!

    on the side built a motor
    eagle rods
    vitra pistons
    arp headstuds
    and a zex cam
    then drop it in turn up the boost to 12 or 13 and hit the dyno yet again with dave and crack 200+ all day long.

              u should hit 200 on 6 pounds easy... u gona wana up the boost after a week of driving it lol...

                keep it stock bro pump 6 - 8psi max a good tune u'l be happy and constint... it wont see 200 but u can get close.

                  bump im turboing my single vtec soon got everything i need just need to order the piping now or go to someone that can do it

                    ARP head studs and rod bolts. Call it a day. It will be good for 200hp no problem. Why spend the money building when you're going to be under the power where forged parts are needed, also you can pick up two or three single cam motors for the cost of building one.
