How to remove CRX Si Sunroof????

Im trying to take off the panel for the sunroof... i just need the top... i dont need the motor or nuffin...so can anyone tell me how to do dis..... or maybe where can i buy a plastic or carbon fiber/kevlar one????

This is only a Parts Image but, it should help you understand, how the Sunroof comes apart.

If you are just trying to removed the Sunroof panel, then you have to pull down the sunroof interior lining, & then un-bolt the outer panel from the sliding frame. Or you can take the whole sunroof frame & all down, if you removed the headliner then the Sunroof frame bolts.

so basically i have to take the headliner.....

you can take just the panel from the top 2
open it all the way and ull see two nuts at front of the rails than for the rear put ur hand underneath the panel and u ll feel the nuts they are 10 or 8 mm.

yea dats wat i was told... i was told to open the sunroof completly 2 10mm bolts in front of panel holding onto the track then go to the back of the panel there is 2 8mm nuts 1 on each end remove them and the track stops then push the panel down and slide out

oh yea when u take the rear nuts dont loose the lil black pieces of plastic i need them lol
