  • Need help asap....

    I pick up a 93 hatch a couple weeks ago and found out my brakes lights didnt work so yesterday I took a look come to find out the brake light switch wasn't hooked up..so I resided it and the were some wires that that werent hook up dk why but one arked of my clutch pedal..now nothing on my dash works speedo,tach,clock,radio,lights,signal lights nothing..check all the fuse they all are good..I tryed running a wire from the batt to the radio and still nothing..some one help please..

    Is there a relay or somthing that controls all of them??

      u shorted the whole harness.

        this is y we dont do electrical work on cars with the battery still hooked up.. smh.

              make sure your getting power to all the fuses.. use either a test light or power probe if you can your hands on one

                      change the in car harness and save yourself the headache of trying to figure it out... or sell it to me =)

                        I might try that...lol not looking to sell it..next question the car a a swap in it will I need the stock harness for a civic??

                          its the dash harness so it goes with what chassis you have.. SO YES STOCK CIVIC DASH HARNESS

                              well you defeintely didnt "short the whole harness" thats retarded.

                              U know you got power coming from the fuse. So find a schematic of a couple of the systems and see where they intersect. Most likely they share a common ground.

                              So start tracing power. Its gonna stop somewhere.
