B16a with a small oil leak ...help

I NOTICE THAT BETWEEN THE HEAD AND BLOCK RIGHT UNDER THE v tech SOLENOID THERES A SMALL OIL LEAK, SO TALKING WITH ONE OF MY BOYZ FRIENDS WE CAME TO THE TOPIC OF WHAT I HAD DISCOVERD AND HE TOLD ME HE HAD THE SAME ISSUE AND ALL HE DID WAS REPLACE THE HEAD GASKET WITH AN AFTER MARKET ONE AND THE PROBLEM WAS GONE .....SO I WANNA KNOW HOW TRUE THIS IS, MAYBE SOMEONE RAN INTO THIS ISSUE ...THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY CAUSE I CANT KEEP MY ENIGINE CLEAN SO PLEASE IF ANYONE KNOWS HOW TRUE THIS IS BEFORE I TAKE THIS HEAD OFF .THANKX

could be the cam seal or the gasket to the vtec solenoid

No offense if you can't find your oil leak you probably shouldn't do the head on a b16

Gotta be that cause if the head gasket went bad all around you see oil leaks(from the front , the back , both sides lols & plus you been smoking . . . so check your Cam seals & the vtec solenoid gasket like manTyme said!

& i had the same oil leak , i change the cam seals & the vtec solenoid & no more leaks!

Vtec solenoid gasket. my b16 does the same thing. but if i drive around all day without engaging Vtec the leak wont show. so yea its the solenoid gasket lol.

Deff doesn't sound like a head gasket to me deff look into a cam seal or a new vtec solinoid gasket

Nah its nothing ive ever seen before ....its not right under the solenoid but under were the head and block meet ...and the car runs great no issues no smoke nothing like that like i said before someone told me it was the gasket but its wierd that it would be that but im gonna give it a good check and see i just though maybe someone had the same issue

Jb weld where the leak is coming around the solenoid and your problems fixed! And no one can steal your solenoid two for one special
