Dimming Problem

my car started to do this today.. i'd press on the brake while the car is idling at a stop light during night time andd the rest of the lights dim out... then i press on the gas and go back to normal? wuts the problem in my ef?

really? a battery can cause that? i thought it be a grounding problem.. the car was just fine until last night.. but ill try that and see if its the problem

Test your battery first and also check your connections it might be a bad ground but from what i hear i think it might be the battery.

it was the battery.. car runs much betta.. but still ima clean out all the grounds tommoro... thankx guys

you should check out your alternator too it could of stopped charging your battery, while buying a new battery will only last so for long until that one is drained too

nah that was the first thing i checked the alternator.. but i shouldnt have a problem becasue its new anyways... and problems already fixed... like i said i also cleaned up all my grounds and added a spare one

i upgraded my grounds to 4gage it stops the dimming if u run hi power amps and i use a diffeerent battery one from a neon in my 91 hb si
