element engine cut out

does anyone know what the deal is?
when slowing down with the clutch in and brakes on the engine cuts out, brought the car to honda and they didnt find anything.

also the engine cuts out when down shifting. does anyone know anything that links to it?

i have a feeling it ahs something to do with reving lower but the car idles fine. it only happen when coming to a stop, i only have that guess please help!

you can get the motor when she junks it she says

humm could be something in the gas tank i know some plastic tanks i ahve changed alot of them there a baffles that keep the gas near the fuel pump they tend to break off and then when goign up hill and down hill and stoppin the gas sloshs away form the fuel pump and the car will stall.

very common issues on jeeps trailblazers and a few hondas with plastic gas tanks

i never heard of that. but ill take a look at it. after it stalls it will take a while to turn over, that makes sense. is there anyway to fix it?

also do you think its the same case when getting off the highway and taking that hairpin turn?

she will junk when she cant fix this problem,

so that explains why honda couldnt find any problems.

my sister also says it happens only when its cold. im not sure if that makes any difference.

just took it out to see if i could get it to cut out, but it didnt do anything for me, my sister said that it cut out on a full tank of gas,
i went up and down any hill i could find and still nothing. but the car was also still warm, she said it only happens when the car is dead cold. any other guesses?
