  • Wat ecu to use

hey ctvtec, just wondering wat ecu i should run on my 96 obd2 dc integra? ill get the wire harness obd2a to obd1, but im not sure which ecu i should run.... an obd1 LS or a obd1 p28? i need to tune it too for a very very reasonable price, and someone that everyone can trust on. so if u guys know something about the ecu and someone who can tune it for me, let me know. thanks ctvtec!

btw: if someone got the ecu for my obd2 to obd1 conversion, give me a price for a reasonable offer.

You can technically use any obd1 honda ecu, besides the 94-95 accord ecu. But if you want to get an ecu you can socket and chip, you better off with a p28 for a vtec non-iab motor or a p72 for a vtec iab equipped motor. Just make shure you buy an ecu you can chip.

You can chip a po5 and pr4 (ls ecu) but if your going to use this on a vtec motor, your going to have to get it converted to vtec. I reccomend getting you ecu chipped by xenocron tuning solutions in hillburn, ny. I think it cost 65 bucks, you mail in your ecu, they chip it and they mail it back. They use zif sockets for easy chip changing and they include two maps.

If your looking for an obd1 ecu, i have a p05 ecu that is non vtec. Ill let it go for $50. lmk.
