I have type 1's myself but I haven't put them on yet so I can't give you my opinion on them. But I hear good thing about the type 2's

I had d2 they ride nice the ksport suck ass my brother. Has them. Progress and techs i hear have a agressive spring rate and have lifetime warrwnty.

Earlier Ksports had alot of damper failures, they have since been revised and have gotten alot better.

Plus even if they did fail, Ksport stands behind their shit 100%.. And even after warranty is over,if a damper goes, the cost to rebuild is $100.

Whoever says d2s are garbage either Havnt tried them or can't afford them. Had them on my coupe for 4 months on softest settings and they ride amazing. Not to mention they are rebuildable
