  • Cutting Wheel Studs / Flush Stance

Is there a shop that understands offsets / fender rolling / wheel spacers / etc...? I need help with this and I'm interested in using Ichiba hub-centric wheel spacers so I'll have to have my OEM wheel studs cut down....

why not just buy the right width/offset wheel so you dont have to run a spacer?

I already have two sets (winter/summer) of wheels and tires on both. It would be too much $$$ to do that.

You shouldn't have to cut your oem studs either there's usually a recess in the back of the spacer to fit excess stud. Unless you're doing something like 20 mm or lower in that case get extended studs

You mean a recess in the back of the wheel?? Yeah it's not enough to fit the stud. I would have to use 25mm or bigger to NOT cut the studs and I don't think I need that much of an offset. I would rather use the Ichiba version 2 spacers that include pre-pressed studs right in the spacer itself. Taking out the original studs and replacing them with extended studs causes problems with the wheel bearings from what I've been reading.

The length of the stud shouldn't really effect wheel bearing life. I have extended lug studs on my car and don't have an issue. I do rent a fender roller as well.
