If you gonna go with 1 color all the wheels... including lip is easy... if not get masking tape

you need:

rust oleum self etching primer
rust oleum Paint (the color you wanna go)
rust oleum clear coating

220 sandpaper
400 sandpapaer
1000 sandpaper

Make sure you get ''rust oleum high performance wheel paint & clear''


start with a 220 grit... all the wheel... make sure you get all those tight spots cuz that wheel looks like a pain in the ass to do...

Clean the wheels with 91% - 100% alcohol... ( from CVS ) or paint thinner

CVS is cheaper

let it dry

then throw some primer in it... wait 20-30min then sand the primer with a 400 grit... with a mid wet shirt clean all the dust (dont use alcohol or paint thinner cuz u gonna remove the primer)

First coat of paint... make sure to get the hard spots FIRST... then spray the wheel normally... let it dry for 20-30mins... look for paint tears.. youll find em trust me xD

sand them with the 400 grit and again clean it with the mid wet shirt

spray some paint ONLY on the spots you sanded... let it dry for 20min

Clear coats... if you want a REALLY glossy finish spray the first clear coat 10-15min after the last paint coat... let it dry for 1-2hrs... or it will peel....

look for clear tears again.... sand em with the 1000 grit (hardest part for me cuz the clear gets kinda sticky)

then spray another coat of clear and let it dry for 3hrs++

order goes like:

1-Sand
2-primer
3-sand
4-paint
5-sand
6-paint
7-clear
8-sand
9-clear

Of course with cleaning between some of those step..

1 coats of primer
2 coats of paint
5-7 coats of clear (better protection from highway rocks and shit)

Using those exact steps , paint and a LOT of patience






and took me 1 week and few days... cuz all the masking and shit,,, but if you are going with 1 color and have someone to help you... youll be done in 2-3days...
