  • K swap advice!!

Sup ctv i just recieved my kpro ecu and went to hook it up when i ran into my gray plug not fitting into e plug slot of the rsx ecu i was wondering if any one had issues like this or can i run the car with just the 2 white plugs in the ecu? Or am i missing a different connector from the chassis any advice would be helpful when i pulled the motor out the gray connector was the only one left in the car from what i was told thats the only one u need??

What harness and what's it from? That's the wrong plug and trying to figure out why.looks to be either a 96-98 or 99-00 civic ecu plug.

This is what the ecu plugs look like on an 02-04 rsx harness. A and b ecu plugs with the plug for the conversion harness.

The a and b ecu plugs are part of the 02-04 rsx engine harness. The e plug is part of the conversion harness. I'll try and post pics of a conversion harness and a k20 engine harness. Just to show you what it looks like.

Here's a pic of a conversion harness. The white plug at the top of the pic is the e plug that goes into the ecu.

K20 engine harness with ecu plugs a and b.

Yes sir, pretty much. You might need to do some wiring from the conversation harness to stock ecu plug. Fuel pump, check engine light, charge light and may be two other wires may need to be tapped into the stock wiring.

The two plugs one the left side of the pic above are right and look to be the a and b ecu plugs from the engine harness. The e plug from the conversion seems to be the one missing. It should be white and look like the gray plug in the left of the pic.
