Ok car don't wanna turn on and when it does it runs really lean like if I punch the gas is puts and then shuts off

check engine light on? scan and report back.. off hand my $ is on a crazy vacuum leak or map sensor problem maybe..

Its a 2002 honda civic si I was drivng home ffrom ny and about an it was great. For the first hour then after that we hit trafic and the car shut off then when I turn it on it started doing it.


And yes it say low curcit mapsensor but I'm on a budgit so I don't wanna by it and that's not it

look for a vacuum leak if youre sure its not the sensor.

Cuz it had mad codes such ass p1298 p0171 p1164 p1163 p0107

p1298 is a eld (electric load detector) code. a bad eld could be causung your problem.

It doesn't sound mechanical or sounds electrical. If that's the case a new motor will do absolutely nothing for you.
