  • over heating issue!

I have a f22b sohc in my accord. When i let the car idle the heat gauge goes alittle over the middle mark of the gauge. as soon as i start to go the the needle goes back down to right below the middle line. I just wanted to know if anyone had any ideal what it could be...

Possibly water pump. See if your fan is turning on? If no then thats a problem.

well it stays on for as long as tha engine is at a certain temp and water pump works by pushing fluid around tha motor if it not good at low rpms it loses pressure and coolant doesnt circulate as much and also bleed tha sytem that can make it overheat also

Make sure your fan is kicking on. Because every honda i've owned the fan always stops working and it will over heat till you realize it and wire it to power, switch or get a new sensor so it turns it on when needed.
