  • h22 goin turbo is it worth it?

    im thinkin bout goin turbo on a h22 but i've neever seen one nor have i heard of it soo i was wonderin if its possilbe n worth it/ let me know ppl

    theres a dude Juan on here that got a h22turbo and there pretty common you just gotta go on google and search it

      stock block i wouldnt run much more than 8 lbs of boost. sucks u have to sleeve an h22 to do much with it. stock frm sleeves blow.

        yes they do and they actually cause blowby i wouldn't want to boost a stock h22 for very long

          not worth it

          just build an n/a motor h22 dont last last that long on boost if u still wanna do it use h23 crank pistons and rods it might last a little longer

                      i got a friend in florida who has a h22 turbo in his eg hatch that shit pulls he got it tuned 2 run 12 psi dailey and like 16 or 18 on track he built the block out and head but still evos cant touck 400 hp srt4 cant touch him i think its worth it if u got the h22 u might is well build for turbo most expenisive thing is the motor

                          h22 will take 7-8 lbs for a while, the weak point in the ringlands on the piston. thats where the frm sleeves become a problem in getting pistons that work with them. if you have the money to build the bottom end i'd say go for it
