Okay CTv, I have an issue. I have a stock b16a2 in my ej2. All Summer I was running a stock p28 in it and it redlined at 6k. I just got a chipped p28 to work with my b16 so It can run normal. It runs way better on the chip since I asked for it act as a stock b16 ecu. Only problem is its still redlining at 6k. Rev limit is supposed to be 8200. Only things it could possibly be is if it wasn't wired right when swapped or because the vtec isn't wired yet from the ecu to the engine harness which is getting done tomorrow. That's what I think, I don't know let me know!

I asked for everything to be the same except vtec engagement. I asked for the 8200 rev limit as it should. But still redlines at 6k like the stock p28

If VTec isn't hooked up that could be your problem. Is the check engine light on?

Yeah but for o2 sensor not being connected I believe. I asked him to delete it but I don't know if he did. I put in a different chip and it went away but when back to the chip I got cus the other chip fried my last ecu.
