CT Salvage title help!

I need some info about registering a Salvage/rebuilt car in Connecticut.

Well im thinking about purchasing a car from NJ it has a little "S" on title for Salvage, i carfaxed the car.. the car was stolen and recovered in NJ on 07... nothing was missing or no damaged. Was stolen for a joyride so NJ decided to report the car as Salvage i guess.. In the state of NJ if a car is stolen its reported as salvage..

The prevoius 2 owners of the car said the registered it and insured the car with no problem or inspection.

My question is will CT DMV bust my balls about the "S" ??

You'll need to do emissions and inspections especially cuz the out of state title plus the salvage they wana make sure it's fit for the streets...ps n u gotta trailer it back n forth while doing this also

not even cuz if am not mistakin joey t trade a integra from ny and couldnt do anything wit it cuz it was salvage, i think he got his car back.. if i was u i wont mess wit it

You can register a salvage title in CT. It must go through and pass 100% inspection. Not saying it wont be a pain in the ass though.

If its reconstructed u should b fine but salvage I wouldn't fuck wit it

U would have to tow ur car to wethersfield ct dmv. There they would have to do a full inspection on the car. To be honest its def not worth it.

See if you can get a copy of the title and bring it to the DMV and ask them
