ok if i dont sell my motor anytime soon im planning on bulding it up so far my ideas are d16a6 block with y8 vtec head mani & throttle body will this work out right and what ecu would i need and will it run better than the stock d16a6 more power

You have a y8 head right? And the block. Is say go for it. Work with what you have. I'll take the head of the d16a6. Just the head and valvecover.

they are very happy under boost if you throw some work at them you can also put the vtec head on it but you will have to buy a conversion harness to run the vtec and run a obd1 ecu rywire.com sells it for like 100$ it convers the dizzy to obd1 and the ecu to obd1 and comes with the vtec wires. plug and play
