okay I just bought a 94 civic ex coupe and I cannot get it to stay running and before I replaced the distributor it wouldn't even start now my neighbor suggested crank sensor or something like that but I just wanted to find out if it could be something common like a bad connection to the fuel injectors or something like that so any information would be much appreciated

Is the check engine light on? If it is what are the code(s)?

U should be able to have a shop just read the codes for u for free with their big $5000 scanner. I used to do it for people all the time when I worked at pepboys.

I think there is also a way to jump a little connector and the check engine light will flash long and short flashes and that sequence will give u the code but u would have to look it up. Not sure this will work on your car but thats hiw i used to check codes on a 93 gsr I had.

You don't need a scan tool to check the codes on obd1. Jump the service connector. Count the blinks of the check engine light. Long flashes = 10 short flashes= 1-9

Piece of wire or paper clip. Not the right plug but it shows you how it should be jumped.
