first off... you have to do a wire conversion to the harness, from 3 wire to 2 wire. and are you still using a auto or 5 speed ecu?

Knock sensor? I believe y7 don't have it and y8s do that might be ur problem its under the intake manifold you might have missed that and I believe you are gonna need a y8 harness

You can use same harness, dizzy, injectors, ect. Cel must be on for knock, maybe vtec? Check spark and fuel pressure. An iac does not affect start up. Location? If your near I might be able to help u out tonightish

muffler bearing? no? Just randomly blurting shit out like everyone else. Change the harness and check your grounds that will solve your issue

if i had a car i would have definitely swung by but i dont... from what we already discussed before im sure its a ground or something fairly simple

Why change the harness? He said he's running off p2e that's non Vtec. So it's not looking for a knock sensor. And the auto y8 uses the same iac as y7. So that's out the question. So is Vtec. But do u have the crank sensor connected? Check the ground on the thermostat housing and the ground from the vc to the radiator support as well as from the tranny to the chassis.
