thermastat ground

ok so my project isnt starting the starter wont turn over .i found out that the thermastat ground is causing this it works of i tap the ground on the thermastat housing. but dosnt work when i have it bolted on. i have it bolted on the lower bolt. the upper bolt that its supposed to be on is striped
so dose it matter where its bolted too

doesnt matter which one just make sure you sand it down to get a good conection

ok so it must be some othere problem , hard to tell cuzz the dash harness was cutt n speakers where just cutt out wires haning every where lol

used a dyegrider to clean all serfaces n ground wire

Check your battery grounds. Make sure there good and clean.Make sure your pod battery wire on the starter is good and tight.

Clean the surface with just some heavy sandpaper an Make sure none of the wires r broken at the connector ..
