code 3 issue

I have a Map sensor issue
someone changed the car harness to obd1 with out map sensor on fire wall.
I tried wiring it straight to. The ecu usin pins d17, d19, d21
and no luck at all code is still there
any helpwould be appriciated
car is a civicdx

D17 left wire color white
d19 middle green wire
d21 right yel/grn

I swapped D17 and d19 around...
didn't work.

D19 and d21 were swapped still have check engine light on..

Now does the map share the ground with another sensor?

Where did you put the wires(d17,d19 and d21) in the map sensor plug?

from left to right using the pic below..wire spots are d19,d22,d17....reset the ecu by pulling the back up fuse out few a few minutes.....

yes 100%...if it still dont work after you rewire it and reset the ecu then my guess would be your map sensor is bad or your ecu is messed up...

still code 3 I flipped d17 and d19 around no luck any thoughts?

Did you reset the ecu?? Try a different map sensor you know works.Post pics of the ecu plug that your putting the wires to.

Use the pic above to put the wires in the right spot in the plug.Yellow/green is the spot to the left, green/white is in the middle and white is the spot to the right.
