Want to know difference between a obd1 gsr engine and a obd2 gsr engine (sensor wise)? I want to see wat needs to be done to convert my obd1 gsr to an obd2 engine

depends what u need to to for , sensor wise ur missing the crank sensor, and acouple extra emmisions sensors on the intake manifold that were made for obd2. and this is if ur gonna use and obd2 harness. for emmisions
and obviously now that u will be using the obd2 harness it dosnt plug into ur alternater , injecters, and dizzy but for this u can use a jumper there will be no emmision sensors in those.

and if u are trying to do this for emmisions u will need to use obd2 ecu.

Y because when u take an obd2 car to emmisions they use an obd2 Reader. so if ur ecu is obd 1 the reader can not pick it up. Saying this because most people believe its cause the jumper harness but its not they are just wires . If they where to use and obd 1 reader on ur car u would be fine but there not gonna.
You change out the intake manifold for the sensors because the check engine will come on and for obd2 cars the check engine light matters ( If light is on its auto fail). Unlike obd1 where they will do a smog test and put a sensor in the exaust and test for engine health. 8609385885 if u need help text
