  • Which block should i use???

Ok so i got ctr pistons 81.5mm i think and i have both ls(b18b1) and a b16 blocks... I really wanna build a lsv setup but i heard if i put these in the ls itll make too much compression... Dont kno if this is true so im here to see what people have to say... Which rods and crank should i go with?? Any input would help...

Do the ls/v the b16 has a short strock and ur not going to make mutch power... With those pistons in the ls block compression would be right around 12.5:1 witch is still pump gas but only run 93

just adding on it depends on tha head u use if u use a gsr head compression will be what he said but if u use a b16 bead will be slightly lower bout 11:8.1 but go lsv all day more torque and balls than a b16

Thats what i figured but the guy i got the pistons off told me if i put those in a ls it would be too much compression and i would have to run race gas... Which rods and crank should i use though???

If ur staying all motor u can use the stock ls crank and rods just make sure u use ARP rod bolts
