    Hey guys i just picked up a b18a1 from one of my boys, wanted some help and opinons on the build cause it is just block and non vtec head. i stripped both the block and head down and iam getting ready to rebuild, i have to buy everything, tranni, intake manifold, header, alt, ps, full internals on both, axels etc, just wanted some opinions from you guys.

    go lsvtec with high compression pistons. i have a semi built GSR head check my threads...
    Honda sucks. Over priced junk.

        i already have skunk2 lowerspirngs, lower control arms, front camber kit, rear tie bar and upper strut bar for suspension, thats pretty much it i wanna do a 2000 front end conversion motor swap and thats basicly it and alittle things here and there to body and interior nothing crazy want a basic daily show car type deal. i wanna build ls completly and either go boost or stright motor, not sure which yet thou. moeny is always the issue

          so you want to go straight ls?? how about a power goal to be more specific....sounds like you wont need more than 200-250 for your setup,,,if so just go stock ls turbo
          theres no replacment for boost:)

              the block and head are already ready to be rebuilt and legit turbo kits are to much $

                  x2 im probly doing a straight b20 turbo. n its not expensive at all. just be patient finding the parts

                    i got the ls for dirt cheap so iam just going to build that, anyone know of any machine shops in ct. need to get block and head done

                      Larry's Automotive, danielson, ct 06239.........hes been there that exact location for almost 35 years,,they know there shit as good as any1...

                              been doing some research and this is what i have come up with for internal build on ls. stage 2 skunk 2 pro series cams, skunk2 pro series valves, skunk2 pro series springs, skunk2 pro series retainers, integra type r pistons, ls crank and ls rods. iam open to listen to anyones thoughts or comments bout the parts i picked out. also doing skunk2 intake manifold and throttle body. thanks guys
