  • EF Map Sensor Wiring Help

I put my motor in my crx. And it runs like shit because it's not running on a map sensor. When I unplug the map sensor it doesn't change anything and I know the sensor is good. What I need help with is figuring out which wre goes where. I havd White, Yellow/Red and Green/white. I need to know what wire goes to what pin on the ecu plugs. It is for a DPFI Car. I fuess it is not the same from a crx si (mpfi). Thanks for any help!

Ok well cuz I know you cant plug in the crx si harness into it to make it mpfi.

no you cant because the mpfi harness has a built in resustor box different injector plugs as well as 2 more and a different dizz plug because it have 2 more wires to it. nothing baout the mapp sensor changes tho.

turn your key on and get the volt meater out and chack the pin at the map sensor. you sould have 5 volts at one ground at another.

also i know threw the years some car came with a map sesors wire built in to the car harness and some inthe motor harness make sure your harness is out of the right year

Yea. My map sensor is built to the car harness(on firewall) along with the dpfi harness I put in,. The kid I got the car from tried wiring it dpfi to mpfi and it was a major fail. So I am going back and fixing all his hack jobs. So it's a bitch to do. But thanks for the pinouts im gonna go try and wire it right to the ecu and see if that changes anything.

I have no where to get it faxed to but thanks for the offer. Im really hoping that when I wireit in tomorrow it fixes the problem! I hate trying to fix other peoples hack jobs. BTW do you have a sohc rear mount setup, like the mount and bracket that goes from mount to tranny?

yea. i thoguth about it the map sensor wires go all the way to the ecu plugs. So they have to be the same otherwise to do mpfi i'd have to change em up. So they are the same. Im gonna follow em back to the ecu plug and hope that one of em is cut or something stupid.

yup did that already, wired the injectors, put the end plug off a obd1 harness to delete the resistor box.
