ls in ef which ecu

i have a p28 in the car right now and im putting the finishing touches on my swap (still eed the back bracket but no one has it) but anyway a friend of mine offered to trade my p28 for his ls ecu with a spoon chip..what should i run because i dont plan on going vtec anytime soon (swap has me broke) but all my boys are telln me not to get rid of the p28 because the ls will run harder any ideas and reasons please thanks....

so your car is obd1 right?? then use a obd1 ls ecu or get that p28 chipped...

id say either get an obd1 pr4 ecu or a p75.
otherwise get the p28 chipped and a stock LS map burned to the chip
stay away from spoon chips, 99% of them are fake, aka an ebay chip, and can damage the motor
