  • converting obd0 to obd1???

    so I've been doing my research~ i have an 90 ef shell and im trying to slap this 95 ls in it, i know it is possible cause im looking at it right now in this "project car tuner" magazine. from 8/29/08 but its not showing how to do it:confused: people are telling me it cant be done, i wanna go for it but where to start???? i have both of the harness and ready to convert my obd0 to obd1... come on CT help me out, im new to this stuff~ lolbanna

      take your injectors and altenator from your b16 and swap em over to the ls......then you will need an obd0 intake manifold and dizzy unless you wire up the dizzy and you should be all set

        yea u need to swap to an obdo intake manifold, alternator, injectors, exhaust manifold(02 sensors) which have different plugs for obd0. and then juist use your ecu or w.e your doing.. good luck and let me know if you need any help bro..

            You are wrong my friend. to do it correct. Just buy a jumper harness of ebay or rywire. You'll have to wire the injector clips off the obd1 harness to the obd0 harness. You can use the obd1 alternator, injectors, dizzy, manifold. You will also have to wire the obd1 dizzy plug to obd0 unless you buy a jumper harness for that as well. It's very easy! And even if you decide not to jump from obd0 to obd1 on the ecu you can still use the obd1 manifld, alternator, and dizzy. Just dnt try n use the obd0 dizzy if you jump to obd1 cuz the car wont start. Now if you going from dpfi to mpfi it will get a little more confusing.               korea at AF performance sells obd0 to obd1 jumper harnesses for dpfi to mpfi and everything is there (four injector wires,dizzy wires) to go directly from your obd1 ecu...with that you can use your stock harness and that jumper harness with an obd1 ls full swap!

              or if you can get a regular jumper harness for obd0 SI to obd1 i can multiport your car for you using the stock daulpoint harness...just let me kno if you wanna do it and we could work something out...or if you have any questions pm me

                you need everything i have and i need everything you have... wanna trade? i got injectors altnator starter. i had a 97 ls in my 91 civic ef si, notice the pic on the side? lol
