I don't mean to sound like an ass but why the hell would u buy a whole motor and not just have the head gasket done. I mean I guess it depends how bad it was overheated but unless your upgrading your kinda throwing money away. Someone be straight with this girl and do a head gasket for a few hundred bucks.

Well my mechanic said i might as well just a new motor or new car cause its a big problem? THe car has high miles and it only overheats wen i drive for a long time.. Like i said i dont know shit bout cars my ex used to do all the work on it lol. So a new head gasket and it will run ok?

Don't listen to these ppl a head gasket is about $100 a timing belt water pump and u might as well do a thermostat plus coolant nd probably other things adds up to $250 (give or take) u can buy a running longblock for that price no need to send the head out to get machined nd spend more money on top of that .......get u a running long block make sure u hear it run first nd u r all set
