I own a Canadian Ek hatch. I have tried 3 different used catalyc convertors and I still kept getting a cel for catalyc convertor. U might have no choice but to put a new one.my suggestion is to not overpay on a used one because 8 out of 10 times it will be no good.if u get a used one cheap and it's no good,u can scrap it and get your money back.
