Just so u know,the y7 and y8 oil pans are interchangeable. The only difference is that the y8 is aluminum(silver) and the y7 is mild steel(black)...I guarantee that the y7 pan will fit a y8 motor without any issues. Straight bolt on bro. I know because I swapped out pans today due to a bad y8 pan.Make sure to use the oil pan GASKET from whatever pan u use. They use different gaskets.
