If your planning on staying non vtec, Id say go ls. I love em, b20 are ehhhh, Never seen a non vtec b20 that made me re think my previous statement.

Now if your planning on doing a frankenstein style swap (non vtec bottom end,vtec head) i would go with the b20z bottom end, in the long run youl have more room to grow.

Me personally i like Ls/vtecs over all b series swap (Minus b16b and b18c5 = D).
