i got oneis a d16z6 from my 1995 eg original motor is has 140 miles.

i got a port an polish done
it has alll new seals.
i put a si lsd tranny so no one tire fire shit merks out the hole, an since its si it has shorter gears
it got a short shifter
brand new axles
2 month old clutch stage 2 (chirps hard)
and fresh spark plugs and wires
and dc headers

it comes full swap all that for 500
the tranny alone goes for 200
and the clutch alone for two
axles alone for 150

I got a full LS - $850, complete minus shift linkage (complete engine, axles, harness, ECU, mounts, OBD1..the tranny, clutch and flywheel are off right now -- $900 if you want me to put the tranny back on..
