I would just go buy it new considering how cheap they are.
The Speedo Shaft is Cheap if I am talking about the same piece you are.
Check this link & Look at item #'s 19 & 20. 19 is the speedo sensor, & 20 is the shaft. According to this site, the speedo shaft/Joint is $1.42
78411-ST7-003 - (JOINT) - $1.42
