No. And it depense on if you wanna stay obd0 or obd1. But you gotta wire in the injectors, swap the 2 outter wires on the tps, swap 2 wires by the ecu plugs, and run 2 wires to the dizzy. i'll give you a link of a good write up. It's not as hard as everyone makes it out to be unless you are not good with wiring.

What do you mean he's keeping it obd1? The car is originally obd0. And also no matter what wether you stay obd0 or obd1 you still have to run 2 wires to the dizzy when you do dpfi to mpfi, i've done it plenty of times trust me I know. But if going obd1, you remove the resister box and wire in a dead end plug, or twist all the wires together and solder em.

Well he needs to use his original dpfi harness in the car, then use the injector clips, and dizzy clip off your SI harnessAnd wire the Dizzy plugs to the dpfi harness. He will also need a obd0 mpfi dizzy. If your not good with wiring, or have never done dpfi to mpfi I wouldn't really recomend it. Because it can get confusing if you have no ide how to.

Yea if you don't really know how. Pay someone to do it. I've done it alot. It's not hard to me, but to others it may be.
