Every other scene uses them, without any worries. Get proper ones and you'd be fine. E30 & Mark 3 VW guys run 4 to 5 lug adapters all the time.

And yes, SeanJDMJohn is right, almost all Japanese car manufacturers wheels are made by enkei..however when enkei made the wheels for the Evo's they where made for performance(rallying, racing, ect..). Si wheels, ect..were all just typical passenger car wheel designs. not to sure of the specifics in design an all that though..
