I thought there was no way to match motors VIN numbers in the title because the title doesn't have the motor VIN number printed.

Unless I don't know the trick. But that's why I've always call the Hartford PD to get a VIN check.

Hmmmm... Thanks for that! I a got scammed with a stolen motor long time ago @ Bridgeport and I remember I didn't see any VIN being the same as the title given.

Like 4 or 5 years later Hartford police almost end up crushing my car because of that.

I explain and give the detective the title I was given and he said "Yes I understand you got scammed because I know there's no way to see the motor VIN in the title".

Since then he teached me how to check the VIN's calling the Hartford PD.
