I just got a 96 Hatch in much better shape than this for 900 bucks man, I paid $300 for my 95 4 door, WITH A MOTOR (KNOCKING), MY boy Big Dash just bought a SI hatch 93 same as this one, black, complete with a little rust on the quaters and no motor for $500.....I can keep going on and on.......500 is a fair price for that shell considering that another $2000 is needed to do all the body work and paint properly on this car.
