if im not mistaken these came with a L16- which is a 1.6.

rb26 with the tranny is about as long as this truck is lol
the stock motor barley has any room to play with as it is.
like i mentioned, any nissan 4cyl like sr's, ca's, even a ka with a turbo would do great.
try putting any rb series engine and your already looking at cutting fire walls, custom tranny tunnles, custom drive shaft (and you will be getting raped), cutting differential, finding a new place to put the muffler.re do the floor. basically everything will have to be fabricated from scratch.
oh and your only fitting a rb20 with all that....MAYBE.

and jdm8o9- yea man deffinatly let me know if you do decide on getting rid of it i got people who might want it, if the price is right i might buy it for myself.

but if i were you id keep it and tastefully mod it[i got places for parts dont put some wack ass rotas on a datto. or gay ass parts treat it right] or bring back to 100% o.g shape and have a show truck. cause honestly it looks like it would win a couple trophys. ( datsun>any car...i have a 72 1200 im working on now)
