Car runs great and is very reliable other than the oil consumption. Drove daily until I took it off the road with intentions of rebuilding the engine. I have now lost interest and need money for school so figured I'd let it go to a new owner who will appreciate it. I want $5,000 for it. Car is in great shape and turns heads. Clean ct title in hand. not selling anything separate.

When you say it burns oil at high RPM's, do you mean that is smokes at high RPM's?

Are you actually monitoring the actual consumption and seeing a significant loss of oil between changes, or are you just seeing the smoke and making the inference that it is burning oil?

I'm interested, and just trying to determine if the issue is as simple and minor as it sounds.
Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.

It was going through about two quarts of oil every week by the time I took it off the road. I drove it daily until that point. It smoked a little driving normally and once it was at wot it puked smoke. Definitely needs a rebuild. That's the reason I took it off the road
