Just seeing what I can get for my car in trades, I like this thing but I really don't have the time or money right now because I am in college in another state from home. But its worth a try to see who would be interested or not lol
1997 Honda Civic Ex
bought last November, previous owner put a new cluster in, it reads 117,xxx miles but has approx. 160,xxx miles.
Black, not perfect, only rust is on driver side rear quarter panel, underbody of the car is pretty clean.
has black housing headlights with 8K HID's in them.
no lips no bodykits, I wanted to keep the car simple, I actually focused on putting a new motor in than the looks of the car.
Motor
1997 B20b from jdmenginedepot, have the paper from the guy I bought the motor from, low miles engine put on maybe around 1,000 miles.
the head was cleaned and resurfaced, new exhaust and intake gaskets, new waterpump and timing belt. Ls intake manifold, no name 4-1 headers.
stock stock stock, Ls hydro transmission. obd1 p75 with jumper harness seems to do the job for now.
There is ebay lowering springs on it, the left rear strut and springs are original because the other side the lower control arm bolt snapped and I had to scavenge one to put it together and I didn't have any extra bolts to finish the other side, don't have time to right now, but the ride is surprisingly not bad.
The Bad: has check engine light on, cant really read the codes but It could be from the intake air temp sensor isn't connected, and there is no 02 sensor.
needs some more Tlc, I did the swap myself with a help from some friends so its NOT PERFECT, I did it for experience, to have fun in and to get me places since the Single cam before was giving out. Also there is a exhaust leak before the Cat, kinda loud.
Has no power steering, A/C, and no heat due to clogged heater core.
like I said the car is not perfect im sure if its given to the right person it will be a great car, feel free to ask questions and don't bash, trades im open to Hondas/Acura's 5 speed only
