  • 92 eg hatch ready for new owner

hey guys, I have been working on this eg for a year and a half now, and i think its time to move onto a different project. Here is the low down on the car

    -1992 honda civic DX
    CLEAN MASSACHUSETTS title
Asking price: $3500 but cash definately talks

    EXTERIOR/MOTOR SPECS
-111k on body, small rust hole from where a body shop sectioned in a quarter panel.
-D16Z6 motor with around 60k on it (no paperwork just word of mouth)
    -MSD ignition
    -AEM fuel rail
-ramhorn header with ebay looking turbo kit
-EWG setup with 5 lb spring
    -BOV
    -Honda Fit wheels
-fall of 2012 I painted the body of the car except for the hood and front buper "mango tango"... chrysler code PVG
-The roof is a custom dark grey similar to chrysler code PDM, with a few tints added. (I worked at a chrysler body shop so its top of the line materials)
    -The hood is chalkboard paint
-The bumper is green primer, i was planning on buying a new one and fitting it better to the FMIC/turbo intake
-P28 ECU with an unknown tune, but i know it has a chip soldered inside.
-Brand new stock clutch and used DX transmission.
-I have never registered this car, or driven it farther than a mile down the road. I only wanted to make sure the clutch was working properly.

    INTERIOR SPECS
-Grey leather seats, drivers side is ripped but other seats are fine. Does not effect horsepower
    -Blue dash/door cards
-autometer boost gauge hooked up to a pillar
-unknown afr gauge not hooked up to a pillar
-big ass tach near shift lever, with shift light moved to near a pillar
-GoPro mount on roof behind drivers seat.
Nothing too fancy, function over form

    THE BAD
    -Needs a new battery $100
-Brakes are stock, some people wouldnt care, but it bothered me that they didnt upgrade the brakes
-While the car is in open loop mode warming up, the idle is very fluctuating. Once the thermostat opens and the ecu switches to closed loop, the car quiets right down. I thought it was the tune but i dont have the patience to figure it out.

Im selling the car because i have a GD chassis subaru wrx that needs work. Cash is king. Im open to trades, but NO MORE HONDAS. I want my next project to be RWD and big enough to put an ls1 in.

Im sure i missed a bunch of things, but im open to answer any questions you may have

Glwys, this site might be hard to sell it on. Post it on a bunch of different craigslist sections. Different states and regions, etc.
