I think this year mustang is an OHC, so technically the cam is over, not in the head. Other years might have been OHC as well, I am not too familiar, I may be wrong.

So ur saying the cams are ontop of the valve covers? A civic is Sohc or DOHC where are the cams? In the head! All mustangs 1996+ are ohc.. 95 was the last year for "5.0" and pushrods. Also was the only year u could get a "5.0" in the sn95 body. You have the same engine as a crown victoria, mountaineer, expedition etc

Like I said I wasn't sure, not very familiar with mustangs at all, but thank you for being the authority. We all must have been thinking 5.0, because a quick search about pushrods is showing pictures of that, cams not in the heads, its actually in the block. Either way I was wrong.
