Fix it with used parts and keep it. Take it up to Vermont with a dealer plate and get it inspected and registered .Vermont is not strict like CT and they do not require receipts,or pictures,etc. U can even use your CT address to register it out there in Vermont. Your title will be mailed to your CT address in 1 month. It will be a rebuilt title with whatever mileage u register the car with. Then u can resell it and get decent money from it again.

The teggy has a clean title. However if I put thru wit the claim n send in my title it will b salavage. It's a clean title, my car is regi., cuz if it became salvage my regi will drop out n I wud have to get it inspected. N I already ask dmv who ever buys it the title will b clean.

So your not going to bother with the insurance claim? It would suck for someone to buy it or trade for it and then it becomes salvage.they will end up going to DMV and the title will get stamped and they will be ass'd out.this is a chance a potential buyer will have to take. I use to own a Delsol years ago and I traded the car for a eg Si hatch.I went to the DMV here in bridgeport and the title got stamped.I was lucky that the person I traded was ok with giving me my car back after 2hrs of arguing back n forth about the situation with him and his father.
