Hardly, I have limited towing. I thought it might be a good idea to throw it up for sale before I use up the towing.

How is it free? The car is there, much like people putting for sale signs and parking their cars in a commuter lot. I didn't see a risk in anyone stealing a prelude, yet all of you seem to think there is a possibility.

I spent an hour talking to speedboi, telling him everything about the car. Nothing sketchy, my car literally stopped on oak st. I have 7 days before alternate side parking, I left it there
Until I need to tow it either to a potential buyer or a garage.

To address the other two points:
1. No I don't live in the area, I was headed to center st. to pick up my nephew when it happened.
2. Yes, thieves have repercussions & if someone wants to risk for a hunk of aluminum, that's on them. That was just a general statement.
